Gallo Awarded Fulbright U.S. Scholar Grant

Sarah Gallo, assistant professor of language, education and society in the Department of Teaching and Learning, is the recipient of a prestigious Fulbright U.S. Scholar Grant by the U.S. Department of Education. Gallo will be affiliated with the Seminar on International Migration: Schooling, Family and Returnees at the University of Monterrey, Mexico, where she will conduct an ethnographic study of Mexican-heritage students with schooling experiences in the United States who have had to return to Mexican schools due to immigration policies.
