The Fisher College of Business has launched a new online executive education program for Tata Consultancy Services with the Tata Management Training Centre (TMTC). The training is the first program of its kind delivered virtually in India.
The first cohort for the online training featured more than 50 participants from Tata Consultancy Services. The participants averaged 10 -15 years of corporate experience. The program was delivered by nine Fisher College faculty members and one staff from Tata Management Training Center.
The executive education training development is headed by Aravind Chandrasekaran, associate professor of Operations, associate director of the Center for Operational Excellence, and academic director, along with the academic director Peter Ward, Richard M. Ross Chair of Management, a professor of management sciences and director of the Center for Operational Excellence.
Although the participants and the faculty trainers were fairly new to on-line executive education, everyone was very pleased with the quality of learning that was achieved. “It is such a pleasure to work with emerging leaders from Tata Group,” explained Ward, Richard M. Ross Chair of Management, a professor of management sciences and director of the Center for Operational Excellence. “They are smart and thoroughly engaged in learning how to make their organization better.”
