The China Gateway hosted a Buckeye Night Mixer in April 2021

The China Gateway hosted a mixer on April 30 to welcome new incoming freshman and students into the Buckeye family.

The mixer theme was food in the U.S., and Megan Lawther, Global Engagement program manager, joined the party via Zoom to discuss the traditions, cultures and popular dishes and restaurants in Columbus including Chinese and other Asian cuisine options for these international students wanting a taste of home.

Alumni in attendance gave great advice to the new students about their favorite restaurants in Columbus, cafes and dining halls around campus, and how to order their favorite food.
