Autumn 2022 Global Education updates

Travel for autumn semester 2022 and winter break education abroad programs managed by the Office of International Affairs will be assessed by the International Travel Policy Committee work group for viability throughout the summer.

Decision deadlines regarding autumn 2022 programs are as follows:

  • Third party provider and direct enroll programs have been approved for Australia, Austria, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Greece, Italy, Ireland, Rwanda, Spain, South Korea, Sweden and the United Kingdom.
  • International Exchange Programs have been approved for Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, Singapore, South Korea and Spain. 
  • Faculty-led programs with winter break travel will be assessed by August 1*.

*Should it be determined that a program is not viable, decisions may be made earlier.

As of June 12, 2022, the CDC no longer requires air passengers traveling from a foreign country to the United States to show a negative COVID-19 viral test or documentation of recovery from COVID-19 before they board their flight. Travelers remain subject to the host country’s exit and entry requirements.
