China Gateway Continues Student Career Opportunities

The China Gateway continued their virtual career series to support student career development during June.

On June 5, Deloitte hosted a virtual information session with Caroline Ning, Deloitte China recruiter, and Jessie Qi, Deloitte management consultant, who introduced an overview of the consulting industry in China and shared their insights on how to prepare for a consulting career.

The third alumni career talk organized by the China Gateway took place on June 19. Three alumni, Zhengjie Li, Shenchao Qiu and Chengziwei Wang, shared their professional experiences and discussed strategies to manage interpersonal relationships in the workplace. The first and second career talks were held in April and May with professionals from a variety of backgrounds and industries including accounting, marketing and business.

The China Gateway will continue to work with offices of top U.S. universities in China and the American Universities’ China Association to co-host several virtual career events, including virtual career fairs on August 17-18 and August 20-21, a student online career development forum on August 5, an online university-corporate partnership seminar, virtual employers talks and career workshops throughout the month of August.

Follow the China Gateway WeChat (ID: OhioStateChina) for more details about the upcoming events.
