Ohio State Ranked a Top Peace Corps Volunteer-Producing School

PecaeCorps webThe Ohio State University is ranked fifth in the United States for Peace Corps volunteer-producing schools in 2019, up one spot from sixth place in 2018.

A total of 62 Ohio State alumni are current volunteers in countries ranging from the Dominican Republic, Guyana, Togo, Mongolia, Indonesia, Kosovo and many more.

The Peace Corps ranks its volunteer-producing colleges and universities annually according to the size of the student body. View the complete 2019 rankings of the top 25 schools in each categories, and find an interactive map that shows where alumni from each college and university are serving.

The Peace Corps sends Americans with a passion for service abroad on behalf of the United States to work with communities and create lasting change. Volunteers develop sustainable solutions to address challenges in education, health, community economic development, agriculture, environment and youth development.
