Volunteer at Ohio State's Thanksgiving Dinner

Thanksgiving VolunteersRegistration is now open to volunteer at Ohio State's Thanksgiving Dinner, which will take place on November 22 in the Archie Griffin Ballroom at the Ohio Union. Ohio State hosts one of the largest dinners on a college campus, with an estimated 1,600 guests attending each year. Dinner is served at 11:30 a.m. and 1:45 p.m.

Thanksgiving Dinner is successful as a result of the help received from the community and Buckeye volunteers who spend a portion of their Thanksgiving Day serving dinner to those guests who are unable to make it home for the holiday.

Volunteers can register online to work the first shift from 10:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. or the second shift from 12:30 - 3 p.m. Volunteer positions include beverage, dinner and dessert servers, greeters, hosts and food carriers, among many other tasks. The deadline to register is October 22.

Thanksgiving Dinner is an Ohio State signature event and is supported by the Office of International Affairs and the Office of Diversity and Inclusion.
