Thirty Awarded Academic Enrichment Grants

JenniferKuesmallThirty Ohio State students and faculty are the recipients of the 2017-2018 Academic Enrichment Grants, enabling them to conduct research over the next year in a variety of international locations. The grant competition, with separate tracks for undergraduate students, graduate students, and faculty, is supported by the Office of International Affairs, the Office of Research and the Office of Undergraduate Education.

This year four undergraduate students, 13 graduate students and 13 faculty were awarded close to $150,000 in grants to further their research.

Research projects run the gamut from icebergs, global health and refugee oral histories to cervical cancer, neoliberalism and the terminal crisis to post-conflict agricultural systems. Students and faculty will conduct their research over the next year in 22 different countries including Brazil, Cambodia, Mexico, Poland and Zimbabwe.
