The Ohio State University and the Diversity Abroad Network are collaborating to host a Regional Diversity and Inclusive Excellence Workshop on campus Friday, April, 21. The event will be held in the MLK Lounge in Hale Hall from 9 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. and is intended for professionals interested in developing the skills and expertise needed to increase capacity and serve more diverse student populations in education abroad.
The workshop is divided into two sessions. The first session, “Overview of the AID Roadmap and Outreach, Marketing and Recruitment,” will examine what the education abroad office does to outreach, recruit and market education abroad to students from diverse backgrounds. The second session is on financial aid and will consider the systems institutions can put into place to make education abroad more financially feasible for more students.
