Joanna Kukielka-Blaser

Joanna Kukielka-Blaser, Ohio State's Fulbright Scholar Program campus liaison and program director for international relations in the Office of International Affairs, is the recipient of a prestigious Fulbright International Education Administrator (IEA) Seminar award to Germany.

This award helps U.S. international education professionals create empowering connections with higher education systems in other countries. For two weeks in October, Kukielka-Blaser will participate in a seminar to learn about Germany’s higher education system, society and culture.

"I strongly believe that the Fulbright grant will have a profound impact on my career," said Kukielka-Blaser. "Being a successful Fulbrighter will be a great personal and professional achievement that will add credibility and confidence to my position as The Ohio State University Fulbright Scholar Program campus liaison. I also hope to serve as an example and encourage other staff members to apply."

The Fulbright Program aims to increase mutual understanding between the people of the United States and the people of other countries. For more information about Fulbright at Ohio State, please contact kukielka-blaser.1@osu.edu
