Description

In this study abroad program, you will be immersed in biological research in a Costa Rican Neotropical rainforest. With guidance of instructors, the class will dive deep into a recently named tropical ant species and propose and complete novel research projects using Team Science principles. You will have unique opportunities to interact with a global community of scientists and work at the world-renowned La Selva Research Station in Puerto Viejo de Sarapiquí, Costa Rica. This program is a 2-week long program that is held during June with early meetings for project planning in May.
