The England/Scotland: Agricultural and Environmental Communication program explores selected English food, agricultural, and environmental issues and how the British media communicated and educated the public about these issues.  Examples of issues explored in the past include, foot and mouth disease, organic and local food production, and dairy cattle diseases.  Students will explore how the approach of British media both differs and resembles US media coverage.  During the program students will travel between London and Edinburgh, stopping at various industry and field visits such as, Scottish and English communicators, livestock farms, and agricultural universities.  Additionally, students will get to explore UK historical and cultural sites like Edinburgh Castle, St. Andrews, Stonehenge, the Tower of London and Kensington Palace.
