China Gateway Hosts Virtual Career Events

The China Gateway is here to connect Buckeyes to resources to weather this storm, including networking and career help. The Gateway introduced a series of virtual events to support career development and to connect with alumni in China. The virtual events include an alumni career talk, employer information sessions and an online career fair.

ByteDance, Youhug Media and BOE hosted virtual information sessions to promote internships and full-time job opportunities in China. Many Ohio State students attended the information sessions.

The first virtual alumni career talk took place on April 10 with over 30 student participants. The alumni speakers, from a variety of industries, shared their insights of how to transition from campus to the workplace and gave practical advice about seeking employment opportunities.
