Alumni reception kicks off Smart City, Smart Mobility Forum

To kick-off the Smart City, Smart Mobility Forum, the China Gateway hosted a Pan-Asia alumni reception in Shanghai. Ohio State alumni were welcomed by Dave Tomasko, associate dean in the College of Engineering, who shared information about programming and activities for new international students and provided a preview of the forum.

Six Ohio State alumni will participate in the forum: Jason Huang (’09 MBA) associate general manager of Didi; David Gonsalveza (’83 and ’86 Engineering), CEO and rector of Malaysia Institute for Chain Innovation MISI; Harry Wang (’05 Engineering), CEO and founder of Linear Capital; Woongchul Choi (’89 and ’95 Engineering), professor of Koomin University; John Cheng (’91 Engineering), executive director of Ford Autonomous Vehicle; and Christine Pan (04’ MBA) chief marketing officer for Amazon China, will serve as master of ceremony. Ohio State has close to 5,000 alumni in the Pan-Asia region.
