Join the Global Engagement team for an afternoon kayaking on the Scioto River! Take in the sights of nature while paddling the river in Dublin, Ohio.
Participants will spend an hour kayaking before heading to a picnic provided by the Global Engagement team. You will be required to wear a life jacket and walk in 1-foot-deep water to get in and out of the kayak, and water may get in the kayak while riding – make sure to wear clothes you are ok with getting wet.
Space is limited, and registration is required. Seats will be given on a first-come, first-served basis. You will be notified if you are confirmed to attend or on the waitlist – please register with an email you check frequently.
Registered participants should plan to meet at the Ohio Union at 2:30 p.m. to take a bus to Dublin Springs Park where the kayaking tour will take place. Transportation as well as lifejackets, paddles, and kayaks will be provided.
