Carla Stoll

Carla Stoll is a communications major and Spanish minor who studied abroad in Seville, Spain for spring semester 2019 via Connecting Worlds Abroad.

Studying abroad was a once in a lifetime opportunity that I would recommend to anyone! You may never have another opportunity to live and learn abroad like you will during your college years. It was hands down the best decision I have made in my life! Little did I know that this time abroad would create a foundation of dreams and goals that I would want to pursue not only after I graduated, but for the rest of my life as well!

I made so many new friends and priceless experiences while I studied abroad in Seville, Spain. Not only was I able to improve upon my Spanish speaking-skills, but I was also able to learn about different cultures on a global scale. Widening my cultural lenses and becoming more open-minded to things is something that I think is even more important to practice these days. I am so grateful that I was able to experience this because I am now able to see the world with a new perspective.

I will forever be grateful to Ohio State for providing me the resources to study abroad. Where ever my adventures abroad take me, I will always walk with Buckeye pride!

Carla graduated in May 2020 and is headed back to Spain to live and teach English there for seven months in the fall.
