As one of the hosting universities, the China Gateway joined other top American universities at American Universities’ China Association to organize a series of virtual and in-person events during summer, to support students learning about industry development trends and career opportunities in China. Participating employers included Bloomberg, Tencent, Klynveld Peat Marwick Goerdeler, Cisco, Procter and Gamble, Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Development Bank of Sinagpore and more. The in-person events took place in Beijing and Shanghai this year. Twenty Buckeyes attended the fairs in-person and virtually.

Following the career fair and student career development forum event, multiple employer talk sessions took place virtually in August and September. Representatives from Alphasights, Nokia, Mars, Espressif, Tencent, Unilever, Procter and Gamble, Loreal and others interacted with student participants virtually to introduce job opportunities within the organization and alumni speakers were also invited to share their professional experiences after receiving an overseas education.
