Autumn Recruitment News and Updates

In these challenging times, the China Gateway has taken several measures to support student recruitment by attending local high schools and college fairs and hosting virtual information sessions.

High school visits – Rather than going to other cities, the China Gateway team opted to visit several high schools in Shanghai, including Shanghai DTD Academy Vanke Bilingual School, Shanghai Datong High School, Shanghai United International School Wanyuan campus and Shanghai Pinghe Bilingual School. The team hosted in-person information sessions with close to 300 students in attendance.

Virtual information sessions – In partnership with International Undergraduate Admissions, the China Gateway hosted two virtual information sessions on October 15 and October 27. The sessions were presented in Mandarin Chinese and English, respectively. Nearly 40 participants joined the sessions.

College fairs – The China Gateway attended the EducationUSA Education Fair representing the Ohio State Undergraduate Admission Office, the Fisher College of Business and the College of Engineering graduate programs on November 14. The China Gateway also attended American Universities’ China Association Fall Virtual Graduate Fair with the Fisher College of Business and College of Engineering on November 15. The China Gateway represented the Moritz College of Law Master of Laws (LLM) program in a virtual fair with China University of Political Science and Law on October 24.
