Kelly Franz is an undergraduate student at the Fisher College of Business.

I am feeling so grateful and inspired after an unforgettable trip to Brazil with the Fisher Honors Cohort! There are so many misconceptions about Brazil, so I was hesitant about traveling there, but now I can’t wait to go back! I am amazed by all that the country has to offer and the incredible people that live there.

Through business meetings, a project with two Brazilian universities, and cultural experiences, I was able to form new friendships, gain an understanding of the country’s economy and the challenges it faces, and meet some incredible people who are working to make the country and world a better place through social impact organizations. This opportunity has definitely changed how I view the world and I’m excited to apply all that I’ve learned into my life and work in the future!
