Joanna Kukielka-BlaserJoanna Kukielka-Blaser, Director, International Partnerships

Joanna Kukielka-Blaser is the Program Director for International Partnerships in the Office of International Affairs at The Ohio State University. Joanna is responsible for the oversight and administration of Ohio State international partnerships. In addition, she directs the U.S. Department of Education Fulbright-Hays Doctoral Dissertation Research Abroad (DDRA) Fellowship program and is the Campus Liaison for the Fulbright Scholar program. Joanna is an alumna of the Fulbright Scholar Program. She received the Fulbright Scholar Grant for International Education Administrators (IEA) to Germany. Previously, Joanna served as Assistant Director of the Ohio State Mershon Center Civic Education Program where she administered grants from the U.S. Departments of Education and State with partners in Poland, Ukraine, and South Africa. She was also a Soros Teaching Fellow in Poland. Joanna has lived and worked in multiple countries and speaks, Polish, Russian, and German. She holds an M.A. degree in Russian Language and Literature from The Ohio State University.

Margo Lipps is the Program Coordinator for International Partnerships in the Office of International Affairs at The Ohio State University. Margo is responsible for managing the establishment of international partnerships throughout the university, and for assisting applicants in the Fulbright Scholar and the Fulbright-Hays programs. Within Ohio State, Margo has also worked in the Office of Research coordinating scholarly award and prize submissions, and as the program manager for the Fisher College of Business Full-time MBA program. Prior to joining Ohio State, Margo spent several years working in international sourcing, international consulting, and cross-cultural education and counseling. Margo has lived, worked, and studied in Beijing and Shenzhen, China, and speaks Mandarin Chinese. Margo holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Business Economics from Ohio University and a Master of Public Administration degree from The Ohio State University.
