In the artist’s own words: "I was out street shopping with my mother and grandmother when I took this picture. My intent was to capture the various emotions people go through while shopping. Street shops in India are quite popular, and this is one of my favorite pastimes with my grandmother. Walking down these streets and seeing all these people keep me grounded to my roots."
