Apply to be a Global Ambassador

globalambassadors 0170 smallThe Office of International Affairs is seeking both American and international students to volunteer as global ambassadors. Global ambassadors are a diverse team of students committed to promoting cultural exchange at The Ohio State University. As volunteers with the Office of International Affairs, Global Ambassadors demonstrate a commitment to the mission of the Office of International Affairs, which seeks the engagement of students, staff and faculty in the global Ohio State community.

 Qualifications

  • Ohio State student in good academic standing
  • Committed to cross-cultural exchange
  • Open-minded and willing to learn about other cultures
  • Able to take initiative and work well with others

Responsibilities

  • Leading Global Engagement Night discussions
  • Developing campus partnerships
  • Planning engaging cultural programs
  • Promoting Global Engagement across campus
  • Attending biweekly planning meetings
  • Attending Global Engagement Night meetings (every Tuesday at 6 p.m.)
  • Coordinating events centered around the nine dimensions of wellness
  • Assisting with other Office of International Affairs events as needed
