Global Engagement Film Series: Persepolis

The Office of International Affairs is continuing its collaboration with the Gateway Film Center by hosting an international film series which offers a monthly international film for students to view for free!

October's screening will be French film "Persepolis" Based on an autobiographical graphic novel by Marjane Satrapi, the film tells the coming-of-age story of a young Iranian girl during the Islamic Revolution. The film is free to students with a BuckID. The films are open to the public at regular admission price.

October's film will be Wednesday, October 22 at 7 p.m. at the Gateway Film Center. Each film in the series is shown at 7 p.m. on the fourth Wednesday of the month. The first 50 students to arrive will receive free popcorn and soda.

In addition to the film, Marjane Satrapi, author and co-director of "Persepolis," will be speaking at the Columbus College of Art & Design on Tuesday, October 21 at 6:30 p.m. This program is free and open to the public.
