Thanksgiving Day Dinner on Campus

One of the largest Thanksgiving Day dinners on a college campus will be hosted by The Ohio State University from 1 to 3 p.m. Thursday, November 27 at the RPAC in the Tom Davis Special Events Gym, 337 W. 17th Ave.

The 17th annual event will be held for more than 1,400 guests – students, faculty and staff, along with their families – who are unable to travel to their own homes for the holiday. More than 100 volunteers from throughout the university community will assist in serving the traditional turkey dinner. Guests must have a ticket to enter. Tickets are available while supplies last through Wednesday, November 26 at the Frank W. Hale Black Cultural Center.

The event began as a gathering for 25 graduate students at the Frank W. Hale Black Cultural Center and today includes broad participation from students who live outside Ohio as well as many international students.

Thanksgiving Dinner at Ohio State is supported by the Frank W. Hale Jr., Black Cultural Center, Office of International Affairs and Campus Dining Services.
