In the artist’s own words: “This photograph depicts henna on the hands of a Hindu bride in Toronto, Canada. This photograph was taken to document a tradition that an Indian bride goes through to prepare for her wedding day. The henna design is very detailed and matches well with her red traditional attire. This photograph is meaningful to me because it celebrates culture and captures a very unique form of art that many may not be aware of.”
