May Education Abroad Program Cancellations

Ohio State has cancelled all faculty-led, internship and service-learning education abroad programs with May start dates.

Students have been notified that the university cannot support these programs at this time, and their applications have been withdrawn.

A decision regarding summer education abroad programs with a later start date has yet been finalized. Students and resident directors will be notified directly of all decisions.

Students are encouraged to review the Summer 2021 Education Abroad Program Deadlines page for up to date information regarding programs still accepting applications. Students interested in virtual options are encouraged to review Education Abroad’s Program Search tool for virtual programming and the Office of International Affair’s new Global Teaching and Learning Initiative.

If education abroad students have questions or need to speak directly with an education abroad specialist, please call 614-292-6101 or email abroadadvisor@osu.edu.

Additional guidance about COVID-19 can be found on the websites of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the World Health Organization and the Wexner Medical Center. Information on travel alerts through the Office of International Affairs can be viewed at oia.osu.edu.
