Gil Latz, vice provost for global strategies and international affairs, has been elected to a three-year term (2021-24) on the executive committee of the Association of Public Land-Grant Universities (APLU) Commission on International Initiatives (CII).
The CII is composed of senior international officers and others involved in campus internationalization and is focused on integrating international dimensions into the learning, discovery and engagement missions of APLU member institutions. The CII serves as an advisory body to the APLU and identifies critical issues and creates opportunities for members to discuss challenges and share knowledge.
“It is an honor for me to represent Ohio State on the CII executive committee,” Latz said. “I look forward to identifying and advancing international initiatives that will support global engagement and best serve the APLU membership.”
