Students in Egypt will be among the first to earn a master’s of Cyber Securities Studies through the College of Engineering as part of a collaborative agreement between Ohio State and the Egyptian Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT). The online program aims to train and develop the next generation of cybersecurity professionals, complementing MCIT’s initiative to build nationwide capacity in modern technologies in order for Egyptians to be more competitive in the international labor market.
MCIT will provide a minimum of 100 students to enroll in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering’s cybersecurity master’s program, which includes four stackable graduate level professional certificate programs: Cybersecurity Risk Management; Cybersecurity Deploy & Operate; Cybersecurity Design & Implement; and Cybersecurity Analytics.
