Apply for the Global Gateway Graduate Student Research Abroad Grant

 

 

Sponsored by the Office of International Affairs Global Gateways, the Ohio State Graduate School and the Council of Graduate Students, the Global Gateway Student Research Abroad Grant encourages and promotes the professional and academic development of graduate student researchers at Ohio State.

The grant provides financial support that allows students to undertake thesis or dissertation research abroad, and thus work toward the completion of their degree. Awardees also will assist the university pursue its strategic international goals by creating and bolstering relations with universities and other institutions across the world. All graduate students conducting such research abroad internationally this summer are encouraged to apply.

We are looking to fund applicants from a variety of Ohio State's departments who are going to a variety of countries, especially those in which Ohio State currently has a Global Gateway Office (India, China and Brazil). The award is funded by the Office of International Affairs Global Gateways, Ohio State's Graduate School and the Council of Graduate Students. Successful applicants will be awarded a grant of up to $1,000 to assist with travel related expenses for research abroad.
