Marinello Awarded Fulbright International Education Administrator Seminar Award

Jennifer Marinello

Jennifer Marinello, associate director of Graduate and Professional Admissions for Student Academic Services and business analyst for the Enterprise Project, has been awarded a Fulbright International Education Administrator Seminar award to France.

Marinello will participate in a two-week group seminar of briefings, university visits in Bordeaux and Paris, appointments with select government officials, cultural activities and meetings with representatives from universities, private sectors agencies and organizations in October 2019 as part of this Fulbright award. The program is designed to familiarize U.S. higher education administrators with France’s higher education system, society and culture.

“I hope to learn ways that Ohio State can create recruitment activities that correct a downward trend in international applications to U.S. universities and Ohio State graduate programs in particular,” Marinello said. “I hope to get a better understanding of the French higher education landscape and make contacts that can further international exchange and the flow of students between French institutions and Ohio State.”

The Fulbright Program aims to increase mutual understanding between the people of the United States and the people of other countries. For more information about Fulbright at Ohio State, please contact kukielka-blaser.1@osu.edu.
