Global Ambassador Applications Now Open

globalambassadors 0170 smallThe Office of International Affairs is seeking both domestic and international students to volunteer as global ambassadors. Global ambassadors are a diverse team of students committed to promoting cultural exchange at The Ohio State University. As volunteers with the Office of International Affairs, global ambassadors demonstrate a commitment to the mission of the Office of International Affairs, which seeks the engagement of students, staff and faculty in the global Ohio State community.

Applications are due on Sunday, March 10, 2019 at 11:59 p.m. Contact Shaniqua Ingol with questions.

 Qualifications

  • Ohio State student in good academic standing
  • Committed to cross-cultural exchange
  • Open-minded and willing to learn about other cultures
  • Able to take initiative and work well with others

Responsibilities

  • Leading Global Engagement Night discussions
  • Developing campus partnerships
  • Planning engaging cultural programs
  • Promoting Global Engagement across campus
  • Attending biweekly planning meetings
  • Attending Global Engagement Night meetings (every Tuesday at 6 p.m.)
  • Coordinating events centered around the nine dimensions of wellness
  • Assisting with other Office of International Affairs events as needed
