Battleship with the English Conversation Program

The English Conversation Program and the Rec Sports will host a Battleship competition on Saturday, November 7 from 4:30 - 7 p.m. at the McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion, in the competition pool.

Battleship is a friendly competition in which teams of 4 paddle around the pool in a canoe and try to sink other canoes by dumping buckets of water in them. All participants will be provided a life jacket. Please wear clothes suitable for swimming. Heavy clothes are not allowed (jeans, sweatshirts, sweatpants.) Clothing suggestions include shorts, bathing suits, t-shirts and leggings.

Registration is now open. It is recommended to form teams of four students when you register. Only one team member needs to sign up and include the names of the other three teammates. If you do not have a group and you still want to participate, you may sign up as an individual and we will place you with a group the day of the event.
