Thanksgiving Dinner VolunteersThis year’s 26th Annual Thanksgiving Day Dinner will take place on November 23 in the Archie Griffin Ballroom at the Ohio Union. Ohio State hosts one of the largest dinners on a college campus, with an estimated 2,000 guests attending each year.

Thanksgiving Day Dinner is made successful with the help of the community and Buckeye volunteers who spend a portion of their Thanksgiving Day serving dinner to those guests who are unable to make it home for the holiday.

Volunteer positions include beverage, dinner and dessert servers, greeters, hosts and food carriers. Registration is now open for volunteers and will be until October 23.

Dinner is served in two shifts: the first starts at 11:45 a.m. and the second at 2 p.m. Register to volunteer for the first or second shift online.

Thanksgiving Day Dinner is an Ohio State signature event and is supported by the Office of International Affairs and the Office of Diversity and Inclusion.
