Purpose/Objective

  • In accordance with a mutual desire to promote further cooperation in higher education between the United States of America and Italy, the Department of Human Sciences of the University of Verona and The Ohio State University on behalf of the Crane Center for Early Childhood Research and Policy, College of Education and Human Ecology enter into this formal agreement for the purpose of educational and cultural exchanges.
  • The two institutions have found it mutually beneficial to initiate the following cooperative activities:
    • Conduct of research projects of mutual interests;
    • Exchange visits of faculty members and researchers in the framework of European or extra European programs in order to carry out research and consultations and to encourage the training of scientific personnel;
    • Organization of joint seminars, symposia, and discussions on topics of common interests;
    • Exchange of visiting scholars for thesis research purposes.

Duration of the Agreement

  • This agreement will be in force for a period of five (5) years from March 9, 2017 to March 9, 2022. It may be renewed for an additional five years if both institutions, acting independently, agree in writing to renew it at least six (6) months before it expires.
