  • Recognizing both Parties’ mutual interest in research and development, education, training, transfer of technology and dissemination of knowledge, and particularly, OSU’s strong reputation of experienced faculty in the fields of Food, Energy, Water and Health and UDOM’s desire to launch programs and undertake research and development activities with a nexus of Food, Energy, Water and Health, the mentioned institutions have found it mutually beneficial to facilitate cooperation in research and development in the field of water. Cooperative activities may take the form of:
  1. Exchange of students, visiting researches and faculty to participate in joint projects carried out by researches from both universities.
  2. Development of research, teaching materials and laboratory facilities with the focus on water and other related matters as well as mutual assistance in the establishment of new teaching programs, tertiary and undergraduate training, organizing conferences, seminars, symposia etc. relating to energy matters.
  3. Planning activities related to academic partnership including solicitation of funds for capacity building initiative at UDOM in the field of water.


Duration of the agreement

  • The Letter of Intnet is valid for three (3) years with effect from 25th May, 2016 to 25th May, 2019. It may be renewed for additional periods of three years if both institution, acting independently, agree in writing to renew it at least six (6) months before it expires. Any amendments to the General Agreement are subject to approval in writing by both Parties.
