Purpose/Objective

  • Erzincan University College of Education and The Ohio State University STEM faculty have found it mutually beneficial to initiate the following cooperative activities, within the extent of each country’s regulations and facilities:
  1. Promotion of joint research including exchange of faculty and researchers
  2. Development of student exchange programs and organization of programs granting dual degree diplomas in conformity with the legislation of both countries upon approval from the Turkish Council of Higher Education
  3. Exchange of academic research data and technical materials
  4. Cooperation in publication activities and cultural activities
  5. Organization of joint academic and scientific activities such as conferences, seminars, symposiums, and congresses.

 

Duration of the Agreement

  • This protocol shall be in effect for five (5) years following the latest date of signature. It will be in force from 11 February 2016 to 11 February 2021. This protocol may be amended in writing by the consent of authorized representatives of both universities in additional written and signed protocols to this agreement. shall take effect from the date of last signature hereto and shall be valid for five (5) years. It will be in force from 21 December 2015 to 21 December 2020. It may be extended for another five (5) years if both institutions, acting independently, agree in writing to renew it at least six (6) months before it expires. It may be terminated by either party by giving six months’ notice in writing of its desire to do so to the other Party, subject to the proviso that any ongoing projects under the MOU will be allowed to continue to their conclusion.
