  • In accordance with a mutual desire to promote further cooperation in higher education between University of Chester, Chester, UK and The Ohio State University on behalf of its College of Nursing, Columbus, Ohio (USA), the mentioned institutions have found it mutually beneficial to initiate a series of cooperative activities that may include:
  1. Developments in learning and teaching quality and enhancement;
  2. Improving learning environments and opportunities for students;
  3. Developing and sharing of publications and other materials of common interest;
  4. Identifying trans-cultural similarities and differences; developing collaborative external funding proposals;
  5. Delivery of dual, joint or common programs, such as seminars and conferences;
  6. Research collaboration; and
  7. Faculty, student, and staff exchanges.


Duration of the agreement

  • This MOU shall take effect from the date of last signature hereto and shall be valid for three (3) years. It will be in force from 28 December 2015 to 28 December 2018. It may be terminated before that time has expired by either Party giving not less than one month’s notice in writing to the other. It may also be extended, if it has not been terminated prior to expiry of the three years, if both parties agree in writing to renew it at least six (6) months before it expires.
