CONICET appoints the Head of the Scientific and Technological Development Office.

Purpose/Objective

•    In accordance with a mutual desire to promote further cooperation in higher education between the United States of America and Argentina, the National Scientific and Technical Research Council, (hereinafter CONICET”), Buenos Aires, Argentina, represented by its President, Dr. Roberto Carlos Salvarezza, and The Ohio State University, on behalf of its College of Engineering, (hereinafter, “OSU”), Columbus, Ohio, USA, herein represented by its President, Dr. Michael V. Drake, enter into this formal agreement for the purpose of educational and cultural exchange.
•   The Parties, by mutual agreement, enter into this master agreement of cooperation which specifies the guidelines of the collaborative programs to be set  in order to boost and implement scientific and technical activities in their countries and in all different fields of knowledge.

Duration of the agreement

This MOU will be in force for a period of five (5) years from the latest date appearing below. It may be renewed for additional periods of five years if both institutions, acting independently, agree in writing to renew it at least six (6) months before it expires.
