  • In accordance with a mutual desire to promote further cooperation in higher education between the United States of America and Pakistan, the Controls and Signal Processing Research Group at the Department of Electronic engineering at the M A Jinnah University (hereinafter, CASPR), and the Centre for Energy Research and Development at Kala Shah Kaku Campus, University of Engineering and Technology (hereinafter CERAD), and The Ohio State University (OSU) on behalf of its Center for Automotive Research in the OSU College of Engineering, Columbus, Ohio, USA (hereinafter, CAR) enter into this formal agreement for the purposes of educational and cultural exchange.
  • The collaborating parties recognize the need to jointly address issues pertaining to efficient use of resources, and in particular urgent issues pertaining to fuel demand and supply, conservation and optimal use of energy and other critical resources, safety, environment, and efficiency including efforts to address these challenges in government, industries, and other organizations.


Duration of the agreement

  • This MOU will be in force for a period if five (5) years from the latest date appearing below. Thus it shall be valid from 11 December 2014 to 11 December 2019. It may be renewed for additional periods of five years if both institutions, acting independently, agree in writing to renew it at least six (6) months before it expires. This MOU can be terminated by either party by serving three (3) months’ notice in writing, without assigning any reason, subject to completion of assignments in hand.
