Upper Arlington LifeLong Learning & Leisure

A division of the Parks & Recreation Department, LifeLong Learning & Leisure is recognized as the largest non-credit adult education program in Central Ohio. The division coordinates more than 600 fun and educational classes to the community each year. Business classes are offered covering such topics as public speaking, business writing, job search strategies and interview skills.

Computer classes

Office of the Chief Information Officer

The Office of the Chief Information Officer offers computing short courses for Ohio State faculty, staff and students that are free of charge. Classes are offered in Internet and the Web, microcomputer basics, multimedia applications, statistical applications, mailing lists and other learning opportunities. Basic education

LifeLong Learning & Leisure

A division of the Parks & Recreation Department, LifeLong Learning & Leisure is recognized as the largest non-credit adult education program in Central Ohio. The division coordinates more than 600 fun and educational classes to the community each year. Basic education classes are offered in writing and language. Topics covered include mastering the basics of language and grammar to beginning a writing career. Basic language classes are offered in French, Italian, Spanish, and American Sign Language.

Columbus adult community education

The Adult Basic and Literacy Education (ABLE) program offers free day and evening classes for adult learners at many different locations throughout the city. Offerings include: GED preparation classes, basic skills improvement classes, and the Official GED Practice Test. Workshops are also offered in basic math, applied math, study skills/test taking, reading for information and locating information
