Alumna Visits U.S. University Alumni FairUnited States-India Educational Foundation arranged the U.S. University Alumni Fair on December 17, 2017, at Sayaji Hotel, Indore. Aditi Rajput, Ohio State alumna represented The Ohio State University at the fair and hosted information sessions for prospective students and interacted with parents and students who are interested in studying in United States.

The fair was hosted by the U.S. Consulate General, Mumbai in association with USIEF. Aspiring students interested in pursuing their higher education in the U.S. attended this fair, and students from the undergraduate level through the post-doctoral level attended the fair.

Ohio State and IIT-Bombay Present Research at Workshop in MumbaiSteven Ringel, associate vice president and Institute of Materials Research executive director at The Ohio State University, recently visited Mumbai on December 18, 2018, for the third annual workshop between IIT Bombay and The Ohio State University. The workshop was jointly chaired by Ringel and Rajiv Dusane, dean of International Relationships at IIT Bombay. The workshop was held at IIT Bombay campus in Powai, Mumbai, India. Researchers, scientists and professors from IIT Bombay and Ohio State attended and presented their research at this workshop.

Ground Water ConferenceTarunjit Butalia, research associate professor in the Ohio State Department of Civil, Environment and Geodetic Engineering and the Energy and Resources Institute (TERI), recently visited Delhi as a presenter for the 2017 International Groundwater Conference. During his stay in Delhi, he worked further on his research project with TERI in the area of fly ash for which he was awarded a seed grant by U.S. Consulate Mumbai at the Waste Management Conference in April 2017.
