The program involves four distinct styles of learning: classroom, distance, Gemba, —learning where the work is done — and project work that ensures learning and drives greater return on investment from the program. The first session will start on February 5, 2018, at the IIT-Bombay campus.

Ward and Chandrasekaran's engagement with various industries not only helped introduce the course to Indian industries but also fostered relationships for future collaboration in business and research. Ratnesh Bhattacharya, director, Priya Kurle, assistant director, and Manjo Garai, international corporate manager of the Ohio State India Gateway accompanied Ward and will continue engagement with industry partners.
