2010-2011 Grant and Scholarship Recipients

Isabel Liu Study Abroad Scholarship

Eight Ohio State students have been awarded the Isabel Liu Scholarship to study abroad. The Office of International Affairs administers this grant that is made possible through the generosity of Isabel Liu and her support of the study abroad program for undergraduate students at Ohio State. Robert Kirian, Debra Lai, Darrilyn Macklin, Leigh McCormick, Tessa Xuan, and Destiny Jackson will each receive $1,000 toward their study abroad program. Anthony Green and Iko Bako will both receive $750 toward their study abroad program.

Isabel Liu Scholarship Recipients - Spring 2011 Competition

  • Robert Kirian, an undergraduate student majoring in chemical engineering, will participate in the China Gateway program in Chengdu, China during summer 2011.

  • Debra Lai, an undergraduate student majoring in biology, will participate in the China Gateway program in Chengdu, China during summer 2011.

  • Darrilyn Macklin, an undergraduate student majoring in Chinese, will participate in the China Gateway program in Chengdu, China during summer 2011.

  • Leigh McCormick, an undergraduate student majoring in history, will participate in the China Gateway program in Chengdu, China during summer 2011.

  • Tessa Xuan, an undergraduate student majoring in biochemistry, will participate in the China Gateway program in Chengdu, China during summer 2011.

  • Destiny Jackson, an undergraduate student majoring in film studies and sociology, will participate in the Brazil Gateway program in Brazil during summer 2011.

  • Anthony Green, an undergraduate student majoring in accounting, will participate in the China Gateway program in Chengdu, China during summer 2011.

  • Iko Bako, an undergraduate student majoring in industrial and systems engineering, will participate in the Brazil Gateway program in Brazil during summer 2011.
