Global One Health initiative Launches Summer Institute

Men utilizes digital technology to learn

Ohio State's Global One Health initiative (GOHi) launched its 9th Summer Institute on June 15. This year, the program will be virtual. In addition to the 17 free courses available through Canvas, Ohio State experts and partners from Brazil, Kenya, Mexico, Ethiopia, India and other countries will host live online modules on diverse and relevant topics to address the spread of disease, promote health and emphasize the connection among humans, animals and the environment, The Brazil Gateway was able to support the institute by identifying themes that make sense for Brazilian audiences and institutions and connecting potential collaborators and partners.

In response to the ongoing worldwide threat of Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR), GOHi will host a three-part panel forum to explore One Health themes in applied science, clinical aspects and molecular mechanisms of AMR. See below the remaining sessions and register. All courses and events from the Global One Health Summer Institute are free.
