What has been your favorite moments or memories from your time at Ohio State?

My favorite memory by far was last winter break, when I went to Israel for a program sponsored by Hillel at Ohio State. I met some of the most incredible people on that trip and developed a newfound interest in the Middle East. I learned so much about Middle Eastern politics, culture and religions. I also had great experiences such as spending Christmas in Bethlehem, swimming in the Dead Sea and exploring the Old City.

What would you hope to do after you complete your major?

I am in-between pursuing full time travel photography and getting a corporate job and saving up money to then pursue travel photography.

Do you have a specific award/grant/scholarship or experience that you would like to share, where you felt proud of that achievement?

I am so proud to be Morrill Scholar. Through this scholarship program, I have met such inspiring and intelligent people who keep me motivated every day. The diversity within the scholarship program has exposed me to all kinds of beliefs and cultures. I couldn't be prouder to be a Morrill Scholar. Every time I meet another scholar, there is that instant connection and I have made great friends due to it.

What is a fun fact about you?

I studied Korean for both my sophomore and freshman years. Korean is such a fun and beautiful language. I highly recommend taking it for the foreign language requirement. Don't be intimidated—the professors are great! They are great at what they do and are some of my favorite professors at Ohio State.
