The Office of International Affairs Global Engagement team and the Center for Latin American Studies (CLAS), invites you to join us Saturday, September 18 from 3:15 - 10:30 p.m. for a vibrant night of Latin culture at ¡Viva Festival Latino en Concierto!

This free outdoor concert and cultural festival, held at the Columbus Commons, offers a lively night under the stars in the heart of downtown filled with modern takes on salsa, mariachi, merengue and Latin jazz.

Experience Latin-American cuisine, national and international music acts, Ohio-based Latino dance and more! Jump into learning about Latin-American culture together and make new friends as CLAS and the Department of Spanish and Portuguese lead fun cultural activities and demonstrations.

To attend the free concert, students must reserve their general admission e-ticket before September 18 by visiting the Festival Latino website.

Students also must register in advance with the Office of International Affairs to attend our event. To register, click here.

Registered students will meet the Global Engagement team and CLAS staff at 3:15 p.m. at the Ohio Union 12th Avenue bus loop, located at the south entrance of the Ohio Union. Students and staff will take the COTA bus to and from the concert. Be sure to bring your BuckID for the bus and money if you plan to purchase some delicious Latin-American food at the event!
