Please join us online to learn more about current and future research collaborations between The Ohio State University and Tampere University, Finland, as well as funding opportunities.

The Ohio State and Tampere University have had joint research, and student and faculty exchanges for over 30 years. Past agreements: 1990-1995 Tampere University of Technology and Ohio State College of Engineering, scientific and cultural exchange; 1997-2000 University of Tampere and Ohio State student exchange. A new University-wide Memorandum of Understanding is being drafted.

The goal of the symposium is to highlight a few of our longstanding cooperative projects and share new collaborations that have been identified in Nursing, Public Health, Public Law, Music, Management and Business as well as in research areas such as Photonics, Global Water, Food Security, Global Health and Social Welfare.

Later this semester, a joint thematic forum, Consistently Engaged: An Exploration of the Intersection of Justice, Equity, inclusion and Internationalization, will bring together North American and European international education leaders on May 12, 2021.
