Exploring Medical Care and Delivery in Finland and Estonia Information Session

his program, run out of the College of Medicine, will delve into and experience first-hand linkages between medical care delivery, population health and health science education in Finland and Estonia. Students will be given a special opportunity to explore unique medical and health related concepts and practice in this region of the world. 

Students will also get an overview of the determinants of health and metrics of health status in Finland and Estonia. Students will critically examine the role of culture, education, economy and environment on medical- and health-related issues in both classroom settings and through extensive travel throughout Estonia.
