Research Collaborations and Networking during COVID-19 with BRASCON

The Ohio State Brazil Gateway will host a conversation on pursuing research collaborations and networking with Carleara Weiss, PhD, founder of the Brazilian Students and Scholars Conference (BRASCON). Register and join us as we understand the importance of networking and research partnerships in times of pandemic and beyond.

Carleara Weiss, PhD, MSc. RN, is a nurse scientist in Geriatric and Sleep Medicine. Weiss earned a PhD and a Postdoctoral Fellowship from the State University of New York, a master's in healthcare science, and a bachelor's in nursing science, at the Federal Fluminense University. Weiss is a founder and leader at BRASCON, a platform for networking and career development for young Brazilian scientists. BRASCON was first held at Harvard and then at University of Southern California. Its third edition was at The Ohio State University in June 2018.
