German Language Study Abroad Information Session

Friday, November 16, 2018, 1:00PM - 2:30PM

German language students of various levels are encouraged to look into their study abroad options. For students of a more elementary level, the German Language Program in Dresden is a nice fit. This program will spend eight weeks in Dresden with Professor Andy Spencer learning both language and culture. Eligible students have completed German 1103 or German 2101 prior to departure. The Dresden Summer Language Program also satisfies the requirements for the Cultures and Ideas GE and the Diversity (Global Studies) GE. For students at a slightly higher level (completion of 2102), there is the Goethe Institut program. This program can accommodate several levels of German and students have the option of traveling for four or eight weeks. For upper level language students, there is the Bonn Program (Academic Year 2019-2010 or Sommersemester 2020); eligible students must have completed at least German 3101.
